Reservations for dining
Due to high demand please confirm your reservation by return email or phone call. Unfortunately if we have not received your confirmation 24 hours beforehand, we may have to release your booking.
For bookings under eight people there is a 24 hour cancellation policy - with no charge. For bookings over eight people, credit card details are required to guarantee the booking and there is a 24 hour cancellation policy.
For cancellations made within 24 hours the following charges will apply:
Lunch: £25 per cover booked
Dinner: £50 per covert booked
If you are running late please do let us know and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.
Unfortunately for reservations over 15 minutes late, we may have to allocate the table to another guest.

General terms and conditions for group bookings and events
Confirmation of booking
Reservations are confirmed and finalized upon receipt of deposit and signed booking form, complete with choice of menu and final confirmation of number of guests attending. When terms & conditions and deposits have not been received from agreed date assigned to, “Buddha Bar London” reserves the right to release booking.
Deposits, pre-payments and settlement of accounts
We require a deposit of 20% of the agreed minimum spend settled in cash, by card or by authorization via this form to process a payment to the card without the card holder being present. For reservations where a minimum spend is not applicable, the confirming deposit is based on £25.00 per guest.
For private functions credit card details are required. Any outstanding charges must be paid in full on the day of the event via cash or card (a maximum of 5 cards to be used towards one bill). We are not able to offer account facilities after the event, we can issue you with a pro-forma invoice for pre-payment prior to the event if required.
Any queries concerning the accounts or complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the event.
Cancellation policy
We ask to confirm final number of guests attending 2 working days prior to the event. This number is the amount of menus that would be charged for in case of a decrease, similarly and also the notice for accommodating additional diners. In case of cancellation by the Client after confirmation of an exclusive event, a full refund is made if made with no less than 7 days in advance to the event.
“Buddha Bar London” may cancel a booking without any liability being incurred whatsoever if closed down due to events and circumstances beyond its control such as fire, water leakage, war, epidemic, strikes, lockout and industrial disputes, civil commotion, earthquakes, act of God or other reason or by order of the public authority.
Prices
We ask for a minimum spend for food and beverage, specified at the time of your enquiry. Should you not reach the minimum spend quoted, the difference between actual spend and minimum quoted, will be charged as room hire. The minimum spend, or room hire when not applicable, includes VAT. A 13.5% service charge is added following the event to food and beverage items sold.
Production
Production and other services (e.g. flowers, entertainment) would be charged as room hire in addition to set minimum spend. The fixing of signs, displays, posters etc. may only be carried out with the consent of the General Manager. Any production or equipment set up should be discussed and agreed by “Buddha Bar London” in writing prior the event. The Client is responsible for any damages caused to the restaurant’s fixtures and fittings by default or negligence during the event.
“Buddha Bar London” will not under any circumstances accept responsibility or liability in respect of any damage or loss of any goods, articles or property of any kind brought into or left at the restaurant either by the Client for their own purpose or by any other person or left or deposited with any employee.
Conduct
“Buddha Bar London” does not accept liability to the Client resulting from any negligent act or omission of its employees. “Buddha Bar London” does not accept liability for death or personal injury for any person on the premises resulting from its own negligence or that of their employees.
The Client is responsible for the orderly conduct during an event to ensure that the law is not breached on the premises. In particular the Client will ensure there is no illegal use of narcotics, betting or gaming. Infringement of any licenses for the sale of alcohol is prohibited on the premises. The Client agrees to recognise the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 whilst on the premises.
VOUCHERS – Applicable for all vouchers purchased up until March 2014
For the avoidance of doubt, the term ‘voucher’ as used in these terms and conditions refers only to vouchers purchased directly from the Buddha-Bar London website (www.buddhabarlondon.com) and include monetary vouchers, experience meal vouchers and experience day vouchers.
All vouchers are to be redeemed at Buddha-Bar London (145 Knightsbridge) only.
All postage of vouchers is to UK addresses only.
All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of sale. Vouchers not used within this time will be forfeited with no entitlement to refund or exchange.
All vouchers must be booked in advance, reservations are subject to availability and purchase of a voucher is not a guearantee of a reservation. Please call +44(0)20 3667 5222 make your reservation.
Vouchers can be used as full or part payment on goods and services at Buddha-Bar London – 145 Knightsbridge. Purchases made with vouchers are not refundable in cash.
Experience vouchers must be presented by the bearer on arrival must be mentioned when booking.
Vouchers are not transferable, refundable in cash or replaceable if lost, destroyed or stolen. Vouchers can only be used for a single transaction; any remaining amount is not exchangeable for cash or another voucher and will be automatically forfeited.
Vouchers purchased for experiences can be exchanged for the experience detailed on the voucher or for goods and services up to the value of that experience. Likewise, experience menus are subject to change and “Buddha Bar London” reserved the right to offer alternatives to the value stated.
Items ordered in addition to the experience and discretionary service charges / gratuities are not included in the price of experience vouchers.
Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payment in full. Where vouchers are dispatched by email, risk will pass to the customer when the email is sent and title will pass upon receipt of payment in full.

Refund policy
To request a refund, please call +44(0)20 3667 5222 to report the problem and then post the vouchers to Buddha-Bar London, 145 Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7PA.
The refund would be made to the card used for payment and for the full amount stated, including the postage and packaging.
Cancellation policy
Guest cancellations of meal experiences and monetary voucher bookings are subject to the cancellation policy of that restaurant; guests may be charged a cancellation fee. Where a voucher has not been used due to the cancellation of a booking, the voucher remains valid until used or expir
Where a booking cannot be re-arranged the experience voucher can be used in exchange for goods and services up to the face value of the voucher at Buddha-Bar London (subject to voucher expiry and reservation at the restaurant).
The company cannot be held liable for any travel or accommodation costs in relation to a cancellation and experience day vouchers that are no rebooked or exchanges for goods and service shall be forfeited.
