Reservations
Due to high demand please confirm your reservation by return email or phone call. Unfortunately if we have not received your confirmation 24 hours beforehand, we may have to release your booking.
For bookings under eight people there is a 24 hour cancellation policy - with no charge. For bookings over eight people, credit card details are required to guarantee the booking and there is a 24 hour cancellation policy.
For cancellations made within 24 hours the following charges will apply :
Lunch : £25 per cover booked
Dinner : £50 per covert booked
If you are running late please do let us know and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.
Unfortunately for reservations over 15 minutes late, we may have to allocate the table to another guest.
Our private room can be hired for up to 55 guests. In addition, we have three semi-private booths for up to 10 guests and two private booths in the bar for up to 12 guests.

General Terms & Conditions
Confirmation of booking
- Bookings will only be regarded as confirmed upon receipt of signed terms & conditions and deposit.
- When terms & conditions and deposits have not been received from agreed date assigned to, Buddha-Bar London reserves the right to release booking.
Deposits, Pre-payments and settlement of accounts
- We require a deposit of 50% of the agreed minimum spend or room hire, if minimum spend to does not apply, to confirm your booking via card, cash or BACS.
- For private functions, credit card details are required. Any outstanding charges must be paid in full on the day of the event via cash or card.
- We are not able to offer account facilities after the event. We are happy to issue you with a pro-forma invoice for pre-payment prior to the event.
- Any queries concerning the accounts or complaints must be submitted in writing within seven days of the event.
Final numbers
- Please confirm final numbers via e-mail at least two working days prior to the event.
- We will charge for the number of guests confirmed two working days prior to an event. If the numbers decrease after this time, we will still charge for the original confirmed number. Similarly, two working days’ notice is required for any additional diners.
Cancellation by Buddha-Bar London
Buddha-Bar London may cancel a booking without any liability being incurred whatsoever if:-
- Buddha-Bar London is closed down due to events and circumstances beyond its control such as fire, water leakage, war, epidemic, strikes, lockout and industrial disputes, civil commotion, earthquakes, act of God or other reason or by order of the public authority.
- The Client becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation/receivership.
Cancellations by the Client
- All cancellations must be made in writing.
- Events with 50 people or more:
In the event of a booking being cancelled the following charges will apply:
- Cancellations before three months - no charge
- Cancellations between 1 month & 3 month – 25% minimum spend, or room hire when minimum spend does not apply.
- Cancellations one month and less - 50% minimum spend, or room hire when minimum spend does not apply.
- Cancellations one week and less - 100% minimum spend, or room hire when minimum spend does not apply.
- Events with 50 people or less:
In the event of a booking being cancelled the following charges will apply:
- Cancellations not less than 14 days - no charge
- Cancellations 14 days to seven days - 25% minimum spend, or 50% room hire when minimum spend does not apply
- Cancellations seven days or less - 100% minimum spend, or room hire when minimum spend does not apply.
Prices
- We ask for a minimum spend for food and beverage at the time of your enquiry inclusive of VAT. Other additional services (e.g. flowers, entertainment etc.) are charged in addition. Should you not reach the minimum spend quoted, the difference between actual spend and minimum quoted will be charged as room hire.
- 13.5% service charge is added to your bill following the event.
- Food and drink are inclusive of VAT or other government taxes where appropriate. Buddha-Bar London reserves the right to amend prices to take into account any changes in the rate of VAT or other taxes.
- Room hire is inclusive of VAT.
Signage
The fixing of signs, displays, posters etc, may only be carried out with the consent of the General Manager.
Production
Any production or equipment set up should be discussed and agreed by Buddha-Bar London in writing prior to the event.
Loss or Damage
- Buddha-Bar London will not under any circumstances accept responsibility or liability in respect of any damage or loss of any goods, articles or property of any kind brought into or left at the restaurant either by the Client for their own purpose or by any other person or left or deposited with any employee.
- The Client is responsible for any damages caused to the restaurant’s fixtures and fittings by default or negligence during the event.
- Buddha-Bar London does not accept liability to the Client resulting from any negligent act or omission of Buddha-Bar London employees. Buddha-Bar London does not accept liability for death or personal injury for any person on the premises resulting from its own negligence or that of their employees.
Conduct
- The Client is responsible for the orderly conduct during an event to ensure that the law is not breached on the premises. In particular the Client will ensure there is no illegal use of narcotics, betting or gaming.
- Infringement of any licenses for the sale of alcohol is prohibited on the premises.
- The Client agrees to recognise the Health & Safety at Work Act
VOUCHERS
- All vouchers are to be redeemed at Buddha-Bar London (145 Knightsbridge) only.
- All postage of vouchers is to UK addresses only.
- All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of sale. Vouchers not used within this time will be forfeited with no entitlement to refund or exchange.
- All vouchers must be booked in advance.
- Reservations are subject to availability, at our discretion. Please call +44(0)20 3667 5222 make your reservation. Purchase of a voucher is not a guarantee of a reservation.
- Vouchers can be used as full or part payment on goods and services at Buddha-Bar London – 145 Knightsbridge. Purchases made with vouchers are not refundable in cash.
- Vouchers are not transferable, refundable in cash or replaceable if lost, destroyed or stolen.
- Experience vouchers must be presented by the bearer on arrival must be mentioned when booking.
- Vouchers purchased for experiences can be exchanged for the experience detailed on the voucher or for goods and services up to the value of that experience. Items ordered in addition to the experience and discretionary service charges / gratuities are not included in the price of experience vouchers.
- Vouchers for experience (i.e. master class, cocktail class) are only valid with a booking and no admittance shall be permitted for persons without a booking.
- Vouchers can only be used for a single transaction; any remaining amount is not exchangeable for cash or another voucher and will be automatically forfeited.
- Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payment in full. Where vouchers are dispatched by email, risk will pass to the customer when the email is sent and title will pass upon receipt of payment in full.
- The company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

For the avoidance of doubt, the term ‘voucher’ as used in these terms and conditions refers only to vouchers purchased directly from the Buddha-Bar London website (www.buddhabarlondon.com) and include monetary vouchers, experience meal vouchers and experience day vouchers.
REFUND POLICY
Should you be unhappy with your vouchers, please return them to us within seven days of receipt and we will provide a full refund.
To request a refund, please call +44(0)20 3667 5222 to report the problem and then post the vouchers to Buddha-Bar London, 145 Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7PA.
The refund would be made to the card used for payment and for the full amount stated, including the postage and packaging.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Guest cancellations of meal experiences and monetary voucher bookings are subject to the cancellation policy of that restaurant; guests may be charged a cancellation fee. Where a voucher has not been used due to the cancellation of a booking, the voucher remains valid until used or expired.
Experience vouchers cancelled by customers less than 2 weeks before a booked experience day shall be forfeited with no right to refund or exchange.
In the unlikely event a booked experience day is cancelled by the company the experience voucher shall remain valid and the company will make every endeavour to rebook the experience day at a mutually convenient time within the next 12 months. Where a booking cannot be re-arranged the experience voucher can be used in exchange for goods and services up to the face value of the voucher at Buddha-Bar London (subject to voucher expiry and reservation at the restaurant).
The company cannot be held liable for any travel or accommodation costs in relation to a cancellation and experience day vouchers that are no rebooked or exchanges for goods and service shall be forfeited.
